There were 41,000 students who enrolled at UCLA as of Fall 2012. There were twelve Nobel Laureates, twelve Rhode Scholars, and three Pulitzer Prize Winners who all graduated from UCLA. The school is ranked thirteenth out of the world’s top 400 universities. The school was known as the Los Angeles Normal School before 1919. The school has had at least one competitor in every Olympics since 1920. The school itself have accumulated 250 Olympic medals, 125 of which are gold.
